Snowy Owl adventure

Today we woke up pretty early and headed over to Jason's to go bird watching with his family. We ventured out into the blizzard to find the Snowy Owl at Lake Michigan. We spent about 2hrs looking for him but he was no where to be found. :(

Spencer and I stopped to get some lunch on our way home at Arbys. We finally made it home after getting some 50% off Christmas candy at K-Mart. Once we got home we played a few rounds of Texas Hold'em. Spencer was beating me for most of the game but the last hand that I had I went all in with four of a kind 8's. I ended up winning the jack pot!! Boo YAH!! It's still snowing pretty hard outside. We are going to take our Christmas tree down today. Feels like we just put it up but oh well. I'm excited to get out the valentines day decor!



Here is the first picture of the year. It's blurry and not a good one because the cameras battery was flashing. But we spent most of the day yesterday playing this totally awesome game!! As my mother in law would say... It's going to get Canasty in here!! :D




This is just a glimpse of some of the snow we got today. It's again another terrible photo because it was taken through the screen on our window but I don't care. LOL :D





This was the final hand of Texas Hold'em!! Look at how awesome that is! Haha this makes me smile... sorry baby.. <3 Cutthroat Kelly! ;)
